"Fill our Space" Fund

A special giving opportunity ...

As we anticipate moving into our new space, we are filled with the excitement of all that God will bring to those that utilize the new facility.

It is time to turn our attention to making that space welcoming and comfortable for all who will gather. Meeting rooms, the Office Area, Fellowship Hall, the Gathering Area and other renovated areas will require purchases of furnishings and many additional items. Our construction budget does allow for the built-ins. However, this is an invitation for the congregation to contribute specific things not included. The "Fill our Space" Fund has been set up as a special account for monetary contributions for items in this brochure, things essential to the new space. It will be administered by the Memorial and Special Gifts Committee.

It is not too early to plan as many items will be needed right away! This opportunity is for everyone! Recognizing that several of you have already contributed to the Building Fund, this provides another way you can contribute to the project, or for others to make an initial gift. Some of the items are of significant expense and some are within the means of many. You may give all, or a portion, of the cost of an item. Or, you might join together with several others to fully fund an item. You may also donate to the general fund so that your contribution can be used as the project progresses and items need to be purchased.

As you remember and honor special events, special lives, or as thanks to God for His blessings, please consider this fund as a way to commemorate that remembrance.

Contributions can be made in two ways:

You may contribute to an Undesignated Gift fund. Your gift will be used at the discretion of the Building Task Force to purchase items for the new space.

You can also make a Designated Gift for specific areas of the space or specific items. Currently we do not have a list of specific items but as the project progresses that list will become available. Until then your designated gift will be held in a separate account. Please indicate when you make your gift if you would like to be contacted, at that point, to choose where your gift should be applied. Why Now? It is not too early to start preparing for our finished product! Lots of items will be needed so that we can use the space right away. We can start making purchases when the funds become available.

The opportunity for memorials and special gifts is available to everyone. Recognizing that many of you have already contributed to the Building Fund, this just provides another way you can support the building project. How to Contribute? Make contributions through the Building Fund envelopes in the pews clearly indicating that the contribution should go to the "Fill Our Space" Fund. Or, print a form here, or pick up a form at church or from the office, and send it to the church office with your contribution--mark the envelope for Memorials and Special Gifts. Gifts will be recorded in a special memorial book to be displayed for the coming years following the project.
